Starting from the first of September 2020, I will be pursuing my PhD in the field of active matter and optical tweezers and I will try to keep this page updated with the progress of my research. Don´t you know what active matter is? Haven´t you heard about optical tweezers? That´s why this section of the website makes sense! I will try to explain here what I learn during this process.
Explanation of the project in a little bit more detail:
"My project aims to understand the dynamics of artificial active swimmers in optical tweezers, both theoretically and experimentally. By understanding the role of particle shape and asymmetry at the nanoscale, we also aim to control such non-equilibrium dynamics on shaped active artificial nanoswimmers in extended random light fields."

El 1 de Septiembre de 2020 empiezo mi proyecto de doctorado, el cual va a estar relacionado con el estudio de la materia activa a través del uso de pinzas ópticas. Intentaré mantener esta página actualizada con el progreso de la investigación. Si no habéis oído hablar sobre la materia activa o no conocéis que son las pinzas ópticas, ¡no os preocupéis! El objetivo de esta página es precisamente ir explicando esos conceptos además de posibles avances y experimentos que vayamos haciendo.
Una explicación un poco más detallada del proyecto sería la siguiente:
"El objetivo de mi proyecto es entender las dinámicas de los nano-nadadores artificiales en el entorno de las pinzas ópticas, tanto desde el punto de vista teórico como experimental. Entendiendo el papel que desempeña la forma de este tipo de partículas en la nano-escala, intentaremos controlar su comportamiento en distintos campos ópticos"
